Safeguarding Child Protection Statement

The Parish of Oldcastle and Moylagh holds a trusted place in our community and is involved with both children and young people.
The responsibility to promote the well being of every person in our community is taken seriously.

All children, young people and adult members of the parish are invited to take a full part in the activities of the parish especially the liturgy.

Every step will be taken to ensure that Children, young people and adults will be treated with care and respect.

Oldcastle and Moylagh Parish will endeavour to safeguard the welfare of those who work with children and vulnerable adults by ensuring that they receive appropriate training and support.

The Parish Child Safeguarding Representatives, who can be contacted with regard to any concerns relating to the welfare of children and young people involved in Parish based activities which can be found by contacting the parish office.
